About the Home

Your family home by the sea

Klein Duimpje is our beloved family holiday home, set on the edge of the Manteling nature reserve — a stone's throw from both the North Sea and the charming village of Vrouwenpolder.

Spread across two floors with four bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, and a spacious open-plan kitchen and living room, the home is designed for long, slow family stays. Bright living spaces open onto a private garden with BBQ; the driveway to the beach is literally across the way.

The village of Vrouwenpolder is within easy walking distance — with a supermarket, restaurants and cafés. From 1 May to 1 September, we also offer a private strandhuisje (beach cabin) on the coast — included with your stay.

The garden became our favourite room — long evenings outside while the children played. Veere and Middelburg are both close by. We left already planning our return.
